New Army began in 2000, as an industrial/ synthpop DJ project by Reid Rainwater as a tool to expand the 'scene' for the music he dearly loved. When Mike Murray And Reid became collaborators, New Army grew and its ideas and goals expanded and changed. Our studio was built after we experienced the callous, money hungry nature of studios for hire. New Army now exists as an idea, rather than a title. A studio, currently recording our project 'Unavox,' as well as supporting and performing with other DJs and projects in the darkwave/ebm/synthpop /industrial 'scene.' We see ourselves as collaborators, helping new artists find their voice instead of being expensive engineers. New Army will record any music genre, as well as remixing songs for other artists. We also write music for solo artists needing keys, guitar, bass or drums.
